STEP BEHIND THE BAR — AND STAY THERE
The Barista Workshop Immersion is your launchpad into a real café career. Building on the foundations of our Barista Foundation Course, this hands-on programme puts you behind an actual espresso machine, in a real hospitality environment, with expert coaching every step of the way.
Whether you're job-seeking, career-changing, or simply serious about coffee — this is where skills become second nature.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
Take your skills out of the classroom and into a real café environment. The Barista Workshop Immersion is designed to bridge the gap between learning and doing — helping you build confidence, speed, and professionalism through hands-on experience and guided practice.
CONNECTING THROUGH COFFEE & SERVICE
Great coffee is only part of the experience — how you connect with people matters just as much. In this section, you’ll build confidence in engaging with guests, taking orders, and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Learn how to read the room, communicate clearly, and deliver genuine hospitality that keeps guests coming back.
HANDS-ON PRACTICE & COFFEE CREATIVITY
Step behind the machine and put your skills into action.
You’ll continue refining your espresso extraction and milk texturing techniques while preparing a range of classic café drinks with consistency and care.
As your confidence grows, you’ll also have the opportunity to experiment and create your own signature drink — bringing creativity into your workflow.
WORKFLOW & BAR EFFICIENCY
Take your understanding of workflow to the next level by applying it in a live setting.
Learn how to stay organised, prioritise tasks, and maintain quality under pressure.
We focus on building speed without sacrificing consistency, helping you keep up with the pace of busy service periods.
SERVING THE TEAM for SUCCESS
A great café runs on strong teamwork. You’ll learn how to work in sync with others, anticipate needs, and support both front and back of house.
From clear communication to stepping in where needed, this section focuses on practical strategies to help you contribute positively to the team and keep service running smoothly.
